What's Going On In Netherton Park
|
Parklife is a three year project funded by the Big Lottery which has helped fund a part-time physical activity leader delivering activities in the borough’s parks and open spaces. Thanks to the post we’ve delivered activities within the community and managed to build strong links with children’s centres, rolling out the buggy fitness programmes to parents and children. Parklife has built upon the success of the success of the Walkfit programme and now a wider range of free activities options are available including Nordic walking, running for health and fitness, lap walking, buggy walks and health walks. Step into spring - This is a new fitness session designed to hold you to those New Year resolutions! Join us for our fitness programme which will include brisk walking, weights, circuits, low impact aerobics, stretching and jogging. All classes will last for approx 45 minutes. They take place on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 – 10:15 am. Meeting at the Netherton Park Play Area (DY2 9QF) with fitness instructor Lisa Hiscox.
