The Friends of Netherton Park is a voluntary group set up by local residents in an attempt to get the facilities provided within the park to be both maintained and upgraded in order to offer the local community the opportunity to enjoy the park for a range of recreational and sporting pursuits.

So far we have secured funding for a number of projects and worked with Dudley Council to achieve several others:-

            ● Welcome Archway for the Northfield Road Entrance.

● Dog Litter Bins.

● Design and Install New Benches at the Main Entrance.

● Install New benches around park.

● New Multi Use Games Area.

● Refurbishment of Play Area.

● A programme of Tree Felling to remove dangerous trees.

● Improvements to Park Paths.

● Addition of New Outdoor Gym.

● Erection of Healthy Hub Building Within the Park.

● Introduction of Lighting on Main paths and Muga.

● Continued Holding of the popular Netherton Park Fun Day.

● Plus many more....

We have many more ideas we would like to put forward, but most of all we would like new members.

We meet once a month (the second Tuesday in the month) at Netherton Park Children's Centre, at 7:00 pm. You would be most welcome so please come along.
